Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup walnuts (or almonds)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Wash and dry basil leaves.
- Add basil, Parmesan, garlic, and walnuts to a food processor.
- Pulse until finely chopped.
- Slowly drizzle in olive oil while processing.
- Add salt and pepper, then blend until smooth.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Freeze in ice cube trays for longer storage.
- Use walnuts or almonds as a pine nut substitute.
