Description

A simple and delicious peach crisp made with fresh peaches, topped with a buttery oat crumble.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla. Transfer to a baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Pour melted butter over the dry mixture. Stir until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the peaches.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.

  • Use ripe but firm peaches for best texture.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.
