A simple and delicious peach crisp made with fresh peaches, topped with a buttery oat crumble.

- 6 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla. Transfer to a baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour melted butter over the dry mixture. Stir until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the peaches.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm peaches for best texture.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.
