Quick and easy honey garlic shrimp bowls are a delicious weeknight meal.

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Broccoli florets, steamed, for serving
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Green onions, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss shrimp with 1 tablespoon olive oil.
- Heat remaining olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Bring to a simmer.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve shrimp over cooked rice with steamed broccoli. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- Adjust honey and soy sauce to your liking.
- For extra flavor, marinate shrimp in honey garlic sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Serve with other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
