Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. While pasta cooks, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
  5. If using, add white wine to the skillet and let it simmer for 1 minute.
