Ingredients

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 pound pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- While pasta cooks, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
- If using, add white wine to the skillet and let it simmer for 1 minute.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Drain pasta and add it to the skillet with the shrimp.
- Toss to coat.
- Stir in parsley.
- Serve immediately.

- Adjust garlic and red pepper flakes to your preference.
- Add a squeeze of lemon juice for extra flavor.
