Description

Classic deviled eggs with a farmhouse twist. A perfect appetizer for any gathering.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Paprika, for garnish
  • Fresh chives, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard-boil the eggs. Cool, peel, and slice in half lengthwise.
  2. Remove yolks and place in a bowl.
  3. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, sweet pickle relish, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spoon or pipe yolk mixture into egg white halves.
  5. Garnish with paprika and fresh chives.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a smoother filling, use a food processor.
  • Adjust mayonnaise to your desired consistency.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
