- 1 block firm or extra-firm tofu, pressed
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess water. Cut into cubes.
- Toss the tofu with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add tofu and cook until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
- In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Pour the sauce over the tofu and cook until the sauce has thickened and evenly coats the tofu.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispy tofu, you can bake it in the oven after tossing with cornstarch.
- Adjust the amount of honey and soy sauce to your liking.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
