Description

Crispy Honey Garlic Tofu is a delicious and easy dish that combines crispy tofu with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 block firm or extra-firm tofu, pressed
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess water. Cut into cubes.
  2. Toss the tofu with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add tofu and cook until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  5. Pour the sauce over the tofu and cook until the sauce has thickened and evenly coats the tofu.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispy tofu, you can bake it in the oven after tossing with cornstarch.
  • Adjust the amount of honey and soy sauce to your liking.
