Description

Crispy cauliflower florets coated in buffalo sauce. Enjoy these flavorful bites as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk (or non-dairy milk)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (or vegan butter)
  • Optional: Ranch or blue cheese dressing, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt.
  3. Add milk and whisk until smooth.
  4. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  5. Place battered cauliflower florets on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. While cauliflower is baking, prepare the buffalo sauce. In a bowl, whisk together buffalo wing sauce and melted butter.
  8. Once cauliflower is done, toss it in the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
  9. Serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing, if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispy cauliflower, broil for the last 2-3 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  • Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to control the spice level.
  • You can also air fry the cauliflower for a quicker cooking time. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes.
