- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk (or non-dairy milk)
- 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (or vegan butter)
- Optional: Ranch or blue cheese dressing, for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt.
- Add milk and whisk until smooth.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Place battered cauliflower florets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- While cauliflower is baking, prepare the buffalo sauce. In a bowl, whisk together buffalo wing sauce and melted butter.
- Once cauliflower is done, toss it in the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing, if desired.
Notes
- For extra crispy cauliflower, broil for the last 2-3 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
- Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to control the spice level.
- You can also air fry the cauliflower for a quicker cooking time. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes.
