Description
A refreshing Peruvian drink made from purple corn, fruits, and spices.
Ingredients

- 1 cup purple corn
- 1 pineapple, peeled and chopped
- 1 apple, chopped
- 1 quince, chopped
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 cloves
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 lime, juiced
- 6 cups water
Instructions
- Rinse the purple corn under cold water.
- In a large pot, combine purple corn, pineapple, apple, quince, cinnamon, cloves, and water.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Strain the liquid into a pitcher.
- Stir in sugar and lime juice until dissolved.
- Chill before serving.
Notes
- Adjust sugar to taste.
- Serve cold with ice.
- Keeps refrigerated for up to 3 days.
