Description

Crispy and delicious air fryer okra, a quick and healthy side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh okra, washed and dried
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut okra into 1/2-inch pieces.
  3. In a bowl, toss okra with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place okra in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until okra is crispy.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispy okra, soak it in ice water for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
